2011 Maruti Swift launched, price starts at Rs. 4.22 lakh

The much awaited new Maruti Swift has recently been launched in the Indian domestic market by the auto major Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. This next generation version of the car was launched in New Delhi at price for the base variants of the car starts at Rs. 4.22 lakh at Ex-showroom New Delhi. This new model of the car is also available in both the petrol and diesel engine versions which are now fuel efficient and great performer. The petrol version of new Maruti Swift is available in three variants like LXi, VXi and ZXi while the diesel version is also available in three variants like LDi, VDi and ZDi. The new Maruti Swift price is impressive and competitive in the segment which is attracting India’s hatchback car lovers and stood over 4000 units of booking mark.

The new Maruti Swift petrol is now 5bhp more powerful than old model and outputs 87 Bhp while the torque output remains the same at 114 Nm and delivers average mileage of 18.6 kmpl . On the other hand, Fiat made Multijet Turbo, 1.3L, DDis diesel powerplant of new baby is generating peak power of 75 Bhp and max torque of 190 Nm. It is fuel efficient and delivers impressive average mileage of 22.9 kmpl.
